SCHOLARSHIPS

At the Five Pearls Foundation, we know that education opens the door to opportunities for youth and challenged adults. That is why we offer scholarships to students. We also create opportunities for businesses, organizations and individuals to sponsor scholarships and take advantage of the network through which information about scholarships is disseminated and the system used to evaluate recipients of our scholarships. Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter Scholarship – This scholarship is given by the women of Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter to encourage academic excellence in young high school women of color who are graduating from high school and heading to higher education at a four year institution. Candidates must attend high school in Manhattan or live Manhattan. This application period is not currently open, and will open in the spring of 2022. Lori C. Pemberton Memorial Scholarship – The Lori C. Pemberton Memorial scholarship was created to honor the memory, passions and ideals of Lori C. Pemberton. Lori was a founding board member of the Five Pearls Foundation and a life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Sigma Nu Zeta Chapter. This scholarship is for high schools students of color who will go on to higher education. This application period is open through May 31, 2021. More details about the scholarship can be found here.
